Hello! 

My name is Olivia and I'm a writer from Liverpool. Thank you for taking the time to read my work. I hope you are happy, wherever you are in the world right now.

I write poetry, music journalism, personal essays and some prose. I take a lot of my inspiration from music when writing, especially when writing poetry. I love experimenting with rhythm and rhyme, something I have a lot of fun with when performing at spoken word events. I tend to draw psychedelic imagery within my work and use colours to convey specific emotions. Travelling is a big part of my life and I have tried to share some photographs from trips I have made in this blog (mainly because I just like them and want to share them with the world). Mental health is a common theme within my writing, something which is very close to my heart. Similarly, I like to write about personal experiences, particularly sexual freedom and self expression. I often try to discuss issues about social justice and aim to connect with readers on a very personal level when writing. I write mainly for the love of words, and I hope you find something you like here.
