Afterparty.

So here we are,

Shadows in

Sunrise.

Our night

Extinguishing,

Diminishing

Under distinguished

Morning glow.

I’ll cry again, I suppose,

Saying goodbye to my sister stars,

All our friends have left their hearts

In the pockets of strangers.

We forgot to tell them

Where we were going.

Unfound and free,

In a world that was

Not ever ours

Anyway,

Knowing not

Rhyme or reason

Of the raindrop’s rhythm,

Still, we dance to the heart

Beat symphony found between

Rib cage and breath.

Let something other than our minds

Shape shift us into other understandings.

So, stand silently by me, uncertain skies

Above us call my name so loudly,

I cannot baer to be alone,

Now that tomorrow

Is here

At

Last.
